A study by the Centre for Economic and Business Research (CEBR) found that having a dirty office doesn’t just look bad; it also has a detrimental effect on employees’ productivity.

Daniel Solomon, an economist at CERB, said: “For every worker employed, British businesses are throwing £700 down the drain. The report also found that 39% of workers say that improving office hygiene would improve their job satisfaction, and the average UK worker office employee would be willing to sacrifice £130 per year to ensure their office is cleaned and maintained to a higher standard.
